I am a Senior Economist at the World Bank Group, and PhD in Econometrics at VU Amsterdam. Before that I obtained my master's degree in Research (2016) and Economics (2015) from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra . In 2012, I received my bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo in Peru.
My research focuses on economic growth and econometric methods for estimating the causal impacts of policy interventions. I analyze how market and fiscal reforms affect firm behavior and market outcomes. Additionally, I am passionate about developing new econometric techniques to improve the estimation of causal relationships in policy analysis. At the World Bank, I apply these insights to inform policy design and evaluation, aiming to foster more competitive, efficient markets and enhance development outcomes.
